I’m an engineer based in the Netherlands, straddling the border between software and hardware. Sometimes that means designing and implementing embedded software from scratch and sometimes it means hacking a bootloader while swearing at the oscilloscope. On a good day it’s writing the perfect abstraction; on a great day it’s deleting a bad one.
I’m passionate about correctness, stability, and performance, but above all solving real human problems—with or without technology. Over the last 10+ years I have worked on projects ranging from FPGA-based signal processing to automotive networking to high-frequency trading, from teams with two people to initiatives with five teams, from kernel module bugs to full-stack observability. I am happiest with a shared sense of purpose and a tight-knit team that trusts me to help them fulfil it.
You can find me online through email or on Bluesky. Offline your best bets are a local bookshop or coffee place, or on a hike in the mountains somewhere outside network coverage.
